After three years of silence, we are glad to welcome back Henkel on the blog with a brand new album appropriately entitled Spaces And Places. According to him, this album builds up on the foundations of his first self titled album and offers a diverse angle of soul and jazz. Yellowstraps & Le Motel – Mellow


Mellow is the result of the collaboration of two Belgian artists, which are both signed under the notorious Tangram Records in Leuven, Yellowstraps and Le Motel. The album came out a coupled days ago and honestly we’ve been listening to it on repeat ever since. We highly recommend to check out the whole tape on bandcamp after listening to our favorites below.

Beach House – Thank Your Lucky Star


On the first day of 2013, we introduced you to the american duo Beach House through their album entitled Bloom. After almost two full years, we are glad to welcome them back on the blog with their latest full length release Thank Your Lucky Star. Nicolas Jaar – Fight


As you know, we try to feature only album, EPs or LPs on the site and leave the single tracks for our Soundcloud account. But sometimes, like in this case, we get so excited about a track that we feel that we have to share it with you through the blog. It’s been three years since we last featured anything new from Nicolas Jaar. A week ago, he dropped a new tune on bandcamp entitled Fight. We’ve done some research and it appears that he is set to release a new EP on December 4th through R&S Records. Needless to say that we are impatient to get our hands on it, especially after hearing this tune below.

Son Little – Son Little


We keep it going with the self titled debut album of the american nu-soul singer and producer Son Little. We’ve been eagerly waiting for this release ever since we heard Your Love Will Blow Me Away When My Heart Ache a few months back. It was hard to select only three favorites but we finally settled down on the three tracks below. Don’t hesitate to check out the whole album on his bandcamp.

La Jungle – La Jungle


Back at the beginning of this year, the Belgian duo going by the name of La Jungle released their self titled debut EP and somehow we completely missed it. So here we are, trying to make it up to you by finally featuring it on the site. Take a peak at our favorites below and catch them live next month at La Ferme du Biereau or at the Béautés Soniques in Namur.

Mount Dreams – Debut Album


The French producer Petit Biscuit teamed up with the Belgian producer LUUUL to create a new project called Mount Dreams. Together, they recently dropped their first album which they appropriately named Debut Album. As always, we’ve selected our favorites below and we invite you to stream the whole thing on soundcloud.

The Cactus Channel – Kill The Doubt / Sleeping Alone


Back in Septembre, The independent instrumental band known as The Cactus Channel released two songs featuring the vocals of the beloved Chet Faker. Apparently, the latter is supposed to be releasing a new EP in December. You’ll most certainly find it here when it comes out. Until then, don’t hesitate to add this two tracks to your collection.

Blackbird Blackbird – Strawberry Light


Blackbird Blackbird is an enigmatic producer from San Francisco. He recently released a new album entitled Strawberry Light which gathers a bunch of unreleased b-sides and remixes. We’ve selected three of them below and we invite you to discover the rest of them on the producer’s bandcamp page. In the meanwhile, we’ll subscribe to them in the hope of hearing more from him in the next few months.
