About a year ago, we told you that we would keep an eye on Tom Misch for you. So we did and we are today to bring you his latest release. Beat Tape 2 came out a couple days ago on his own label Beyond The Groove. As you’ll soon discover, this is one of those albums that doesn’t require much action. Once it’s on, it’s will stay on for a while, trust us.
The two brothers behind Chaos In The CBD have just put out some new material through Rhythm Section Records. Midnight In Peckham features some of the most engaging percussions we’ve had the chance to hear in a while. It will most certainly give the urge to nod vigorously and get into some intense foot-taping. As always, the favs are below and the rest is on bandcamp.
Handbook has been making music for the past five years now. He recently released an album entitled Thank You to show his gratitude to his fans. We’ve been keeping an eye on Jesse James Solomon for a while now and we were super stocked when we saw this morning that he just released a new EP. The Ride Home features five new tracks from the London rapper, three of which are featured below. It’s available on bandcamp in exchange of a few pounds. Hopefully, we can expect a debut album before the end of the year.
It’s already been almost a year since we first introduced you to Desert Sound Colony through their first EP. After almost a whole year of silence, The M Machine are back with a few unreleased B-Sides from their Metropolis EP. We are glad to finally have some new materials from them and hopefully we can expect a full length album in the upcoming months. Until then, we’ll just have to play these few tracks over and over again.
