There is nothing better than making runs on a powder day. Well here is a few chill songs to jam to while you’re slaying that fluffy stuff.
So these guys are from Auckland, New Zealand. I randomly stumbled upon one of their cd’s, and now I can’t get enough of them. They have a funky electronic sound along with a little reggae and hip hop mixed in. This great group with a style unlike anyone else.
What kind of a name is this ? I don’t know but it’s absolutely awesome. This guy comes from the UK, and that’s about all i know. Wise introduced me to him a few months ago, and i can’t thank him enough. TEED just released this new remix and it’s as awesome as his name. Take a listen below.
You liked that ? Then listen to this:
I saw this release about a week ago or so, and i don’t know why but i didn’t click the play button. That was a great mistake, this album is definitively something different than everything else out there. It’s like a cup of electro with a teaspoon of dubstep and handful of jazz. I love what Big Gigantic has done, this one of those album that requires only one click. I highly recommend to get it (and guess what, it’s super mega free), so don’t even hesitate. Download this right now and check out the tour dates for these guys, cause seeing this live is likely to blow you away.
Apparently this guy has only remixed two songs, or at least only two of them were uploaded to the web. It doesn’t matter because they are worth at least 10 songs. Make sure to appropriately listen to this, the baseline is, i believe, what makes it so unique. Hopefully we hear more from this guy in the coming months. Download available.
I don’t know much about this guy, except that he is from Germany and that he has been around for a while. Fritz Kalkbrenner has some serious tunes, here are my three favorites of them all.
SBTRKT, pronounced Subtract, is a producer from London. He released his first album in 2011 under Young Turks label. I highly recommend you to get it, it’s something very different than anything else you might have in your library. Here is what SBTRKT as to say about his music : “(I) rather not talk about myself as a person, and let the music speak for itself. The name SBTRKT is me taking myself away from that whole process. I’m not a social person, so having to talk to DJs to make them play a record is not something I want to do. It’s more about giving them a record as an anonymous person and seeing whether they like it or not. If they play it, they play it.” Take a listen to the the few tracks below from his latest album.

Happy new year everyone, i hope you enjoyed last night. You are probably hung over as hell, so you might want to wait till you feel a little bit better to play this 25 tracks. They might knock you unconscious even though you probably know most of them.
